GOP drops plans to run DeWine ads in Ohio -- CNN.com

WASHINGTON (AP) -- The Republican National Committee said Thursday it won't run any television ads in Ohio on behalf of Sen. Mike DeWine during the final week of the campaign.

"Even the RNC is basically saying now that Mike DeWine has a slim chance of winning this campaign," said Phil Singer, spokesman for the Democrats' national Senate campaign organization.

It's time to put this in our win column as well and pull some resources out as well, shift them to candidates who need them.

2. Uh oh, more bad news for Democrats!

Because, see, Mike DeWine has such an insurmountable lead (ignore the polls) that the RNC doesn't need to run any more ads in Ohio. The voters know where everyone stands, and they'll prove once again on November 7 that they stand foursquare behind the president and his indispensable partners in the Senate. The Democrats should just disband as a party now, and save themselves the embarrassment later when everyone will be watching.
