Post your upset special for election night...give the candidate..
That the media has ignored, and doesn't generally show up on the chart of competitive races...

I'll start...

Judy Feder in VA-10. She has quietly crept into this race, running a smart well funded campaign. A poll a couple weeks ago put her only 5 behind Frank Wolf...

The Southern Political Report last week declared the race a toss-up in their opinion...

So my upset special is Judy Feder ousting Frank Wolf in VA-10...

Your turn!

3. This would be the best ever
There are 1/2 the Hastert signs you usually see and Republicans are being quiet. The only real poll I have seen was a few weeks ago and it showed Hastert at 52%. He won in 2004 with 69%. Hastert's goons are tearing down many Laesch yard signs and last week-end a red Swastika was painted on a large Laesch banner on a main road in the Fox Valley. It was reported in the local paper. Hastert has never been seriously challenged and his organization is not handling it well. My gut tells me there is no way Hastert could lose but I do believe in miracles and maybe, just maybe, Illinois 14 will be one of the big stories on Nov.7.

8. Laesch probably didn't ex[ect to be a serious challenger, either
It must be a pleasant surprise for him. I hope he didn't make any plans based on the idea he wasn't going to win.

5. Bryan Kennedy kicks out Sensenbrenner
Bryan was trailing by only 8 points in August and a lot has happened since then. Sensenbrenner has done some very weird things, and we all know about the national electorate turning away from Republicans. We've heard of a lot of people in the district who have had it with Sensenbrenner. The media barely covers this match, and no other poll has been made public, so this is going to be a real surprise when Kennedy pulls it out. There's still time to contribute and help Bryan get some air time to spread his message (see link below, and thanks for whatever you can spare).

7. Exciting call, Save Elmer. I hope it happens.
I'll go with Dr. Wulsin over Mean Jean Schmidt in Ohio-02.

I sure would love to see voters send Mean Jean packing.

And Dr. Wulsin is wildly qualified to be in the Congress.

9. Kyl in Arizona, it could happen!
Latest polls show him up 5-6, but if we can get the lead down to 3 by Monday, maybe we can blitz the state and pull a shocker. He was up by 16 two weeks ago.

10. Mary Bono gets beat by young David Roth
David has raised enough to buy into the DNC franchise. First one to do it in years.Mary is running hard, from society benfit to society benefit, losts of gowns and jewels, meanwhile David is touring CA CD45 by motor coach these last weeks, and will cover the entire huge, Riverside county district. Mary is running ads for the first time and has refused debates. This is a nominally puke district and the NYT considers is a "safe seat", but somethings happening around here. Mary is not calling herself a Puke, but rather ans independent, when she is really a hack.
