7. Who says
that people don't find it hard to admit they may be wrong? "Lemmings" is the current mantra of Dean supporters describing primary voters. Projection is a powerful response of the human psyche.
Have another  - on me.

9. I sincerely don't mean to be a jerk about this,
but this is money wasted. Dean's campaign is in the toilet, he can't influence events any longer, and donating all the money in the world to him isn't going to change that. Dean could have campaign coffers of a billion dollars right now, and it wouldn't do a thing to stop all the 'Kerry is inevitable' stories that flood the airwaves, any one of which has far more impact than a $500,000 ad campaign would.

I can understand your loyalty to your candidate, but it really is time for the Dean folks to start trying to figure out a new, more productive, way of channeling their energy and resources, because the anti-Bush side needs them, and Dean is a dead end.

I'll put this another way: you are trying to make a protest candidate, a Jerry Brown, out of a guy who is to the right of the average Democrat, and one whose political career is dead in the water to boot. It makes absolutely no sense. If he ever was one, which I don't believe for a second, Dean certainly stopped being an agent of change after New Hampshire, and these donations are throwing good money after bad.

10. People that hate Dean why are you commenting on the

16. No, I think he was pointing out that the money being raised
is not translating into votes. He's right.

17. You guys are getting ridiculous
we are just happy about the $ we raised.
And we are getting votes. Are we winning? Not right now (recount in WA) but that may change.

I would say the same thing about Sharpton, your avatar. Hell I could have said from the start, any effort you put into his campaign, or any money, is wasted. But I didn't. Because I am, generally, somebody with a little thing called tact. So we are going to keep working our asses off for Dean until he drops out. Ok?

Your post was sincerely jerky.

13. yeah save us for the rightest
who insured his children, gives tax rebates to poor renters (one got over 5k on a 12k salary), has given gays more rights than any other state in the union, appoints over 50% women to positions of power, balanced 11 budgets, has homevisits for every parent who wishes them, cut child abuse to 1/5 of its previous level, equalized funding across his school districts, and opposed the war. Yea he is a fucking Zell Miller.

15. As a Clark supporter I have nothing but Praise for you guys on this.
Well done! It's your money, and since he's your guy, it is an absolutely powerful statement of support for what you truly believe in. Howard wants to make it a real race in Wisconsin. If Dean were my number one guy I would be trying everything I could to make it happen there for him. You have raised the money he needs to make that effort. Congratulations.

A Dean/Clark or Clark/Dean ticket would have been my dream.

Your guy is class personified, and your response is very, very kind. Thank you.
