So what do we do when we find out that we ALMOST took over
the House and ALMOST took over the Senate, but didn't quite make it over the top.

Mark my words, that's what we are going to wake up and find.

Democrats will win by a large margin but Republicans will do just enough crapping
into the system to keep it from flopping over.

1. Why don't we worry about that after the election instead of
perseverating on it now...

7. We're taking the Senate and House back for the American people
We don't have time to pay more attention to those criminals, psychopaths and liars. A vote for Democrats is a vote for the future of the US.

8. here's why we may not have that problem . . .
there's only so much BushCo can do to steal an election, and it's a pretty safe bet that they had NO idea the depth and breadth of hatred and disgust they'd be facing this year . . .

it's highly likely that they thought they had enough elections rigged to ensure their continued control of the House and Senate . . . what they didn't count on are all the races that have become not only competitive, but favoring Democrats, in areas they assumed were safe . . .

bottom line -- they don't have enough fraudulent "ducks-in-a-row" to prevent a Democratic takeover of at least the House, and possibly the Senate . . . they simply didn't see it coming, and they're nowhere near prepared to fix enough races to win . . . the turnout of Democrats and Independents will set new records for an off-year election, and BushCo's candidates will go down in flames from coast to coast . . . here in New York, there's a chance that EVERY Republican incumbent will lose this year! . . . and that encompasses districts that have been in their column, well, forever . . .

BushCo and the Rovester vastly underestimated the negative impact their policies and actions are having on the electorate, and they're going to pay for it . . . BIG time! . . .

12. The Repiglicans Only Need Ohio
A Repiglican sweep in Ohio keeps them in control of both houses of Congress.
It's that simple.

we're sitting in excellent shape for taking both house of the senate. Yes the GOP GOTV is scary but independents are with us in a big way thios election. I persomally think that we'll take both houses in a rout.

On Edit forgive the spelling i was typing in the dark.

10. Has any one put on this thing about what happened in the
Calif. race for the seat that the crook left? The Speaker put him into office and I think that they had a problem in that race. Any problems and I am sure the Speaker will put in the GOP's guys. If I recall right it took the Dem. women over a year to get her seat. Linda something. This is sure going to be fun. WH does not want any one looking into what they have been doing for sure. The Far Right Agenda has been in full speed for two years and they are not ready to stop it yet. We al ready have a for ever war with a President that has endless powers. And some of our people voted this power to him. Think about that.

11. not a disaster.

With the House some brakes will be applied to this administration. They'll have a razor thin margin in the Senate and a more invigorated opposition there.

Also, I suspect things are going to get REALLY ugly in this country in the next two years (war, economy), so they won't be able to say "see, a democratic congress did this".

I'm looking at 2006 as the democrats stopping the republicans agenda and 2008 for the complete takeover (president, house, senate).

Still, getting the Senate would be nice, but I won't lose sleep if we don't.
