Man, it's sad when the Scaife-owned Pittsburgh paper won't endorse Lynn Swann

The Patriot-News in Harrisburg, The Morning Call of Allentown and the York Daily Record/Sunday News all endorsed Casey in the Senate race. The Philadelphia Inquirer and The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette backed Rendell for governor; the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review chose not to endorse Rendell or Swann.

To give you a better understanding of the two Pittsburgh Papers - the Post-Gazette and the Tribune-Review would be like the Washington Papers. Post-Gazette is the Washington Post of Pittsburgh papers whereas the Tribute-Review is the Washington Times - a conservative rag owned by a conservative nutjob, this time the nutjob is Richard Mellon-Scaife.

You'd think that Mellon-Scaife would at least do the right thing and endorse Lynn Swann but hell, they just didn't endorse anyone. That has got to hurt for Swann.

Let's hope this election is the beginning and end for Lynn Swann's political career. Stick with Football announcing
