Oh yeah, I forgot. Everything that has gone wrong in the six-plus years of the Bush Administration is ultimately Clinton's fault.

Sadly, the reporter covering Sweeney didn't bother to fact-check the quote. Way to be "fair and objective."

8. Recession actually started in March of 2001

Probably started by Enron's manipulations in Califoria - the world's fifth largest economy. The slowdown that had been occuring was caused by Greenspan and his decidsions to really jack up interest rates in anticipation of the 2000 election. IIRC the prime was at 8.75%.
