1. If the undecideds could just see the pics of Corker's daughter
they would decide right quick.

4. Do you mean THIS picture? I suppose it depends on the "family values" of the voter...

...Corker, who has repeatedly ragged on his opponent's family, brought his daughters into the race with the campaign ad invitation to meet his girls....

2. How many will vote for Ford?
It is not good news that the incumbent party is having trouble closing the deal with 10% of the voters at this late date. Ford may benefit from this.

5. Ford has to overcome the bigot factor. I hope he can.
There are always the closet bigots who tell the pollster they are diehard Democrats and always vote the ticket, and will ALWAYS vote the ticket, but in actual fact they're just Republicans who were too lazy to change their voter registration when they realized that Civil Rights was all Lyndon's fault! They tell the pollster one thing, go in the booth, and vote for AOW: "Any Old Whitey."

The margins can be anywhere from five to fifteen percent. If the GOP steals TN, the "bigot margin" will be great cover for them, even if there's little truth there.

6. What are the chances that repubs will get in the closet and
vote Dem? Closet being a voting booth. The mood seems right for this to happen all over the country!!

7. I think they'd stay home and play the victim first
A few sane moderates (think Chaffee types) might vote their consciences, but there are so few of those left. It's the independents who will vote with us, I suspect.

Now, what used to be the GOP, a party of guys like Goldwater, or Ed Brooke, or Ike Eisenhower is a party of crazyass fundies who want to limit speech, who want to Talibanize government and THEIR church into a sick, sticky mess, with rules and more rules, and a bunch of greedy corporate fatcats who want to bleed the wealth of the nation into their offshore bank accounts. And the only way to do that is to keep the public fearful.

The people sticking with them are dupes who are easily led, and easily fooled. They're sheeplike baaaaaaaastards who are baaaaaaaaarely able to think for themselves! They're not just baaaaaaaaaad, they're stupid!
