Just so you know, the comments at the beginning about holding up signs.... about 5-10 people holding George Bush signs were trying to heckle him from the back of the crowd as he walked in.

Crowd was estimated at about 400.

The more I listen to Edwards, the more I really like him. I would seriously consider voting for him, if my state held a primary (it doesn't).

He is talking about things that Liberals have hid from too long in fear of angry white male conservatism.

He speaks very well, and I would love to hear him face off with Bush. Edwards seems to know is material inside out, while Bush always seems to have crammed for the most recent quiz. I think Edwards could take Bush in the South, and that means he could take Bush, period.

I strong candidate, and a much needed voice raising issue that have lain dormant too long. The optimism he projects and the fight inside that dog really stir something, and I'm an overwhite, middle age guy with bad knees! Just the sort who are supposed to be turning conservative and listening to Rush Humbug!

(I also like Kerry, Clark, Dean and Kucinch! so for me, I said Bring it on, GOP!)

Here is the rest of the speech:
