GOP: "The Dems will raise your taxes" The Truth: The GOP have been WASTING your taxes
Them Pubs are guilty of making our Fiscal System a horrid mess...9 trill in the hole is draing our strength big time...

and the best they can come up with is THE DEMS WILL RAISE YO TAXES...?

WE DEMS WOULDN'T HAVE TO RAISE ANYTHING IF THE PUBS HAD BEEN MINDING THE STORE BETTER.

The GOP let the burgs in and over 6 years, America got robbed.....blind...

1. EXCELLENT talking point and right on the mark!
I listen to these ads and you'd think that the Republicans had not been collecting OR
spending any tax money at all. What a farce!

And what a perfect comeback to point out that the naked emperors have been squandering
our precious tax money (to say nothing of our precious men and women in Iraq, but I digress).

Yes, very good, and I encourage people (if I may be so bold as to suggest appropriating your
idea, opihimoimoi), into local letters to the editor. It is compelling and cogent.

2. whomever is elected will have to raise
taxes, that said bush and the rethugs fail to tell the nation that the government is being being run on borrowed money.china and japan are lending money to the u.s. in the war effort.this is the reason that bush does not enforce china trade laws because the chinese can call in those loans anytime they want.the rethugs don`t want the troops home because it will cause a greater recession which is coming, business thrive during war,not individuals.its a shame but you won`t see anything done internally for about 10 to 12 years.this war will resonate for a dozen years.

15. Here ya' go tobacco industry
Great point!!!

Anybody have numbers on what percentage of your check goes to big dish-outs to giant profit making corporations. I hated Ross Perot - but I wish a politician would break out the tax chart - so that people can see what portion of their 6.75 is going to defense and corporate sleaze bags. People would understand that.

17. Yup, if you are gonna blow the money, let's get something for it!
This is the #1 thing that drove me from the Republican party.

This "War on Terror" has been nothing but a huge waste of money. On top of that, it's become a blank check for a power grab. All for this fantasy that we will pour trillions into these third world hellholes and magically turn them into civilized democracies. Why should we spend money and lives on this crap?

If I'm going to have a government that spends trillions, let's have some social programs that benefit Americans. And on top of that, is pro-environtment and pro-labor.
