Bill Winter is running against the ignorant racist Tom Tancredo and things are looking very good right now.
Tancredo finally came back to Colorado a couple weeks ago after his nationwide tour of spreading his racist beliefs.

Here's the thing--every single source I can find shows this race within the margin of error. That means within 5 points. That means we are right in this race and it may well turn on voter turnout on election day.

I can't do anything about what the DCCC or the Democratic Party do as far as supporting candidates, but I know we have run a STRONG campaign and we will be in this on election day with STRONG chance to win.

I also know that if we get 45% or better but don't quite win, I'll run again.

I'll file the next day and spend two years doing it right. We had four problems when I got in this race:

1. I had never run for anything and didn't know how to do it;

2. No one knew who I was--no name recognition;

3. We got a late start and didn't even have a full year to campaign; and

4. the perception that a Democrat can't win in CO-06.

Well my friends, we are going to blow away all four of those things in seven days.

If we win, I'm the first Democrat to hold this seat ever. If we lose close, then we go out and raise 3 million dollars and win by 15 next time!

So donate now---get on this bus because it's pulling out of the station and everyone will want on in a week!

He's not in my district, but I really like him. Oh, to see Tancredo and his xenophobic fear tossed out next Tuesday. I also hope such a loss would destroy his hopes of running for president on his racism-based platform.
