the reason you don't hear any "good news" out of Iraq is because anytime it's reported that a school has been built, it invariably gets blown to shit the very next day. In other words, there is no "good news" coming out of Iraq. Maybe hillybilly heroin boy would like to volunteer to be "man on the street" and go over there to report all the good things the drive-by media fails to tell us. Don't hold your breath waiting for that to happen.

I remember hearing something about the police training academy where raw sewage rains on the cadets in the classrooms. Or construction work abandoned. Let's see the * misadministration publish an accurate accounting of the construction work being done over there by Halliburton/KBR and other contractors there. Let's see CBS, ABC, NBC or one of the cable networks spend a week over there putting together an accurate and unvarnished picture of the quality of all the reconstruction work being done over there, the condition its currently in and the $$$ it cost us taxpayers.
