Kerry vs. Republicans!
KERRY: "I’m not going to be lectured by a stuffed suit White House mouthpiece"

Breaking on MSNBC: McCain now criticizing Kerry and calls for

Kerry Presser today to answer RW stupidity

First Senator McCain says that “waterboarding and other extreme measures” are off limits. Senator Graham said we “let the world know we are no longer engaging in” waterboarding. I guess no one let the Vice President know. He said waterboarding—or simulated drowning— is “a no-brainer.”

Who can we believe? The Vice President? The White House spin team? Or Senate Republicans who have no say in how this policy is enforced? It is clearer by the day that an Administration that lobbied for the right to torture got exactly what it wanted. If that’s not the case, Senate Republicans who defended the Administration’s intentions and defended the Administration compromise need to demand answers and accountability from their White House. -- John Kerry

1. you might think that 'democrats' here...
at 'democratic underground' might be thrilled to hear John...or anyone for that matter...go after this administration with whatever choice of words they wish to use...but you would be wrong. Here, it seems, many would like to approve any word content, before a single syllable is uttered by any elected official. The 'media' might take it the wrong way. That is, unless no democratic representative says anything...because then, they're all wusses. Such a farce this spectacle is....makes me sick.
