Ed Schultz destroying the white house hate machine
He played bush talking about where the WMD's were. Under the desk? No. Over here? No. Did anybody in the white house apologize to the family of those who died in Iraq for that "botched" joke.

Brought up bush not reading much (especially on August 6th, 2001.)

... how they'll use what Kerry said..

Chris Matthews said that Kerry had a speech he was reading, he just went too fast and left out a couple words..

Big Eddie always has a way of making a person feel better..

2. Gee, where are the Eddie-bashers now?
A few months ago posters were calling him the devil incarnate because he aims his message to rural moderates.

3. Ed has his own style
He doesn't nuance much. I find him a little loud, but politically he and I see eye to eye about 85% of the time. I can handle that.

10. I've kept silent about my take on the guy
I'm not that big his labor stances. In terms of boycotting and workers strikes he's a bit of a supply sider. Last I listened to him he claimed that he doesn't support strikes because they hurt business.

This is not a positive way to appeal to rural voters that are looking for economic justice and empowerment. The folks on the left need to come out in full support of the tools labor has at it's disposal.

i don't agree with him 100% of the time but i don't agree with my mother 100% of the time either. he gets a lot of people listening . . . from both sides . . . and that's a good thing.

9. I've started listening to his show at work and once I got past the revulsion of the
Limbaugh type voice and the sports/hunting thing, I rather enjoy him now. He's pretty even-handed, not real well informed, but that works for much of his audience. I think he's learning more. I would prefer someone else were on, I guess, but he will do. I think he reaches the crossover middle range people very well.

11. Not only does he reach the "cross-over" down home heartland
kind of folks, but he keeps getting better. Remember, he was a diehard rwinger before his wife slapped him silly and woke him up! I've listened to him from the start, and believe me, he will only get better with age. Big Eddie rocks!
