I am curious about the "if we're way ahead in the polls, they can't steal it"
attitude. Why does that follow? Sherrod Brown is way ahead in the polls, but will likely lose because in Ohio they have effectively set things up so that it's nearly impossible for Democrats to vote. And when it happens, what makes anyone think that anthing will be done about it?

FWIW, the same people who believe this are the ones who complain about the media while watching/listening 16 hours a day, every day.

1. The idea is that if we are way ahead in the polls, it would be obvious that they

2. Which means what?
It's been proven that they stole FL in 2000 and OH in 2004. So what?

4. Ohio and Florida were hardly clear according to polling.
Ohio's last five polls showed us down.

6. And the exit polls showed Kerry winning compfortably,
even after Whitewell purged 40,000 or so black voters from the rolls. SO what?

7. Early exit polls historically show Democrats doing better than they do.
In 1992 even, Democratic analyst Ruy Texeira pointed out that Clinton was shown winning by double digits nationwide, but it wasn't even close to that.

9. These weren't early exit polls, and this wasn't nation-wide
it was Ohio, and the exit poll margins were large even at the end, and Whitewell purged tens of thousands of Dems from the voter rolls. Kerry won OH. What part of that don't you understand?

15. "Early" Exit Polls = The REAL Exit Polls Before They Changed the Numbers
The exit poll numbers changed into Bush**ler's favor HOURS after the polls were closed everywhere.
How did that happen?

3. If Brown is up by 10% going in, they cannot steal it.
That's too much to overcome without drawing suspicion.

8. Given that the Democratic landslide is going to be so overwhelming
in Ohio, people will protest.

10. And the protesters...
Will be detained without arrest because 'The Decider' decided they were enemy combatants.

14. When those protesters are 60% of the voters of Ohio, I doubt it
We're winning all major races in Ohio this year. Mark it down.

12. They own and rig most polls so we won't be surprised when they win
Edited on Tue Oct-31-06 06:19 PM by God Almighty
They did that to McKinney and others they wanted to get to lose. Don't you find it intersting that suddenly the polls to pro-Republican right before an election? No one I know is voting for Arnold, and I know a lot of people. The polls have him winning by double digets.

Watch for the polls to shift in the Brown race right before the election.

17. LOL
What a spectacularly dumb statement. I'm referring of course, to the I know lots of people line. There are how many million voters in California? That you may know of few hundred or a few thousand people who aren't voting for Arnold proves exactly nothing about the larger electorate. And provide one fucking shred of evidence that McKinney was cheated out of victory in a Democratic primary. God, I'm sick of this shit.

16. Of Course They Can, With the Help of the Ever-Helpful Media
They only have to make the MSM say that it's close.

AND THEY ONLY HAVE TO STEAL OHIO to keep BOTH houses of Congress!
