2. Kerry's initial statement or what he refers to

as a "botched joke" will be on the front pages of all newspapers tomorrow morning. Seven days before the election and Kerry threw the starving Republicans a bone. Democrats who are leading or seriously challenging Republicans in moderate to conservative districts will be bombarded from the press and put in the position of explaining or defending Kerry's remarks. One can window dress this all they want but for the moment it is a political disaster.

4. I like what he said, he just didn't go far enough

isn't it the truth , get a college education, because the mid level jobs are being outsourced, immigrants taking low paying jobs, what left for a middle class kid with out a college degree, nothing but Iraq, isn't that exactly what happened in Vietnam..Mid and poor kids fought the war, while the rich republican went to college, then came Kennedy, with the thing of pulling the little ball out with the date on them, when the number was pulled everyone with that birth day had to go, the college campus was busy with students headed for Vietnam.. One good thing with that number that war stoped shortly after the number pulling started.
