1. His feigned indignation is exactly that: a fraud, like everything else about him
He needs to visit The Hague. In handcuffs and leg irons.

2. every time he cranks up that southern waaaaaaaan
in his indignant rants I keep thinking of that Beverly Sills (?) Memorex advertisement with the soprano and the wine glass, plus permanent hearing loss.

It is the single most unmanly thing that wanna be southerners (and some southernern men) do. They wind that whine up and pitch it and they crank it hard enough to make your ears bleed.

George Bush you big, nasty, sissy, and I don't mean sissy in a good way.

3. agreed
perhaps if he hadn't dodged the vietnam war he might be less willing to send lots of poor, uneducated young men to their death. Kerry's bungled statement rang true - if you've got no education and no prospects you can always join the military. Don't get me wrong, i respect people who join up but you can't argue with the facts.

4. I'm afraid you have misinterpreted what Senator Kerry said
He was not referring to those in uniform. His implication was that bush did not do his homework, did not study and is now stuck in Iraq because of it.

And if "you've got no education" you cannot join the military.

And a career in the military is a very good prospect; if civilian leadership is rational and sane.

And bush didn't "dodge the vietnam war" he deserted the United States Military to avoid a drug test.

Other then that your post is fantastic. Welcome to DU.

5. I'm sorry, that's an incredible stretch. Kerry was clearly referring to those in the military.
He'd be better off standing by his comments and trying to explain them.

7. No stretch at all
Kerry "blundered" and deviated from his prepared statement which clearly was a dig at bush. What he meant to say didn't come out right and for that he is guilty but in the past 35 years Kerry has never unjustly targeted those in uniform and I doubt he ever will. I think he is standing by his comments. Because bush is a fucking ignoramous we are stuck in Iraq.

8. what about when he recently accused us military personnel of committing
terrorist acts in iraq? People remember that stuff and start to link them together.

12. We have
Marines and Sailors pleading guilty to activity which some might describe as terrorist in nature. Shooting unarmed civilians and setting the scene to make it looked like the guy was shooting at them. Link what together? Kerry telling the truth about the actions of Americans in Iraq with Kerry telling the truth about bush being a bumbling, yet deadly fool? I fail to see any downside here except the continued manipulative actions of the right wing hate machine.

10. Put down that kool aid, win-in, and back away slowly
You have clearly OD'd and clearly not listened to the Kerry tape.

Go to the evidence. Sober.

Kerry is unmistakeably talking about commander AWOL.

11. He cut & ran when it was his time to go to war.

He needs to apologize for all the others who died in his place when he ran away.
