It's time to hammer on Medicare Part D!!! Renewals are going out now
with big jumps in premiums and confusion. I'm now looking at my present plan and another..,because the present plan is now up to $450 out of pocket without one drug purchased. The deductible has gone up for all plans as well as the monthly rates depending on the plan and what they're messing around with.

I'm reliving my total frustration with this crap and Democrats should be helping voting seniors to vent at the polls!!

1. Definitely!
$450, out-of-pocket, without a drug purchase is way too much for most seniors who need this help. I would love to see the Democrats start working on this and all the real meat-and-potato issues that effect seniors, the poor, and the middle class.

I am hoping that next week we can elect a Congress that will respond to the needs of the people, not just the big corporate donors and the war profiteers.

3. prescriptions not being covered either

Because of deductions and DONUTS. This is what Democrats should be talking about, but they and Republicans are too busy spending millions on attack ads, while poor seniors go without the medicines they need.

6. Now THIS is worth talking about., not Kerry or how some people
simply can't accept that the criminals running this country wouldn't bat an eye at offing 3000 Americans on 9-11 to fulfill their agenda.

9. K&R - I'm 30 but see AARP transformed from a powerful lobby to
nothing but an insurance broker and travel agency.

Remember the CEO of AARP (Novelli) is the guy who created the "Harry & Louise" commercials to kill universal healthcare on behalf of the insurance lobby. You think he wants to see medicare D actually work? And lobby on behalf of fixed-income seniors? What a damn shame. Is there no way AARP members can do anything except cancel their memberships to oust Novelli?
