Kerry's botched Joke issue is Getting serious Radio Air Time in Chattanooga TN |
|
I've been hearing about Kerry's remarks every time I get in the car and listen to the radio. One caller even called into a radio show and talked about how Kerry's comment made him make up his mind. He's voting for Corker. He said he was undecided because Corker froze his wages while he was Mayor of Chattanooga.
I couldn't believe what I was hearing. This person personally got screwed from Corker and now they plan on voting for him because they didn't like what Kerry said. I wonder how many other dumb ass americans are going to vote against their own self interest because Kerry botched a joke.
:wtf:

1. It might be some freeper |
|
trying to influence the vote (sent by the RNC). Besides, they don't need Kerry's remark to change the election outcome... they own Diebold.

the right coordinated a campaign the attack all radio shows and call in and express phony outrage over the distorted version of Kerrys speech. Sam Seder, after not getting any right wing callers for weeks all of a sudden got bombarded by callers.
They are trying to mislead people at the last moment.
I think it will backfire. It doesn't change the other 999999 reasons to vote for dems. And in consideration of that, I think most will see that is more of the same non-policy oriented bullshit that they are sick of from the Bush crowd.

15. heh - I live in NC and spent 4 years in SC. |
|
And yes, I truly understand the difference, even with my Ohio/NY/LA ears. But I have been to many a reunion and wedding and funerals around here, and MANY military people are loathsome of everything Bush is doing.
And that is RECENT talk from a large family of Air Force and Navy men from current Iraq war, previous Iraq war, Vietnam and WW2 vets.

16. Chattanooga unfortunately is a very conservative area |
|
Most of east TN is and people just have some strange ideas. I honestly think there are quite a few people around here that believe that education makes you uppity.

have a democratic mayor before Corker though and of course Corker is taking credit for the waterfront project that the previous mayor did. :eyes: I personally enjoy it still here in Chattanooga and we have a pretty good democratic active party.

And this is why this country is in the shape it's in. Because people like this guy are so easily duped by Rove and his ilk.

Dumber that follows, Styles, Robert T. Nash, which ones? I don't listen to local radio anymore; I listen to Air American on the satellite.

19. So was Styles the one who had it on his show, or was it a carry over |
|
from earlier, or did his callers bring it up, do you know? Makes one long for the Navy vet, Max Hackett, that was fired from 102.3 and that's when I quit listening for the most part.

and had callers calling in to discuss it. I also heard a DJ on 96.5 talking about it. Which is was pretty odd.

Morons get to vote too, after all. It is unlikely that it will be a determining factor, but anything is possible in a close race.
