Robertson - "Tammy Duckworth. What is she?"

Why the 700 Club was on in our house, I don't know. But from the next room, I heard Pat Robertson say to the correspondent, "Tammy Duckworth. What is she? Filipino or something?" His question just came out of the blue - like most Robertson ad libs.

But I'm angry that he seemed to be asking the question just to point out her racial background (she was born in Thailand) to the white people of suburban DuPage County. Here's a woman, a US citizen, a helicopter pilot who lost her legs in Iraq and he's asking, "What is she?"

I feel better for ranting. I grew up in DuPage County and pray they go Blue!

It's almost the most divisive show on TV, certainly one of the most bigoted and hate filled and yet it airs on a "Family" station that also airs most of the holiday specials that kids catch.

Of course ABC also aired Path to 9/11 so they are apparently content with being evil lying pricks.

Astoundingly, the 666 Club is actually aired here on a local station. One hopes that the substantial local Filipino population, as well as those who knew Ms. Duckworth when she went to McKinley High and UH-Manoa, will demand that Marion Robertson (his real name) take his rotten bigotry back to the mainland.

I woke up one morning after leaving the tv on and 700 club was on with Robertson and a "political"consultant who said the same old crap...The dems have no ideas at all and that all we have to run is that we are "supposedly"better than bush.
