HeraldNet NewsHe has also criticesed Cantwell (D-WA) for being "vague" on her support for Iraq. This, unfortunately, is true (shame on you, Cantwell). She left herself open to that critique, but it's a little too late for McGavick to try to use it now.
It's an odd concept of Victory to think we'll "partition the country...and get our troops home" unless he means a victory for the troops and their families to finally be out of harms way. The problems in Iraq aren't going away any time soon and the "sweep it under the rug" strategy is too cowardly to then declare victory. It sounds like a talking-point Saddam Hussein would have used.
