Final NYT/CBS News poll before midterm: 19 point dem lead!
This is wonderful news!

The poll found that just 29 percent of Americans approve of the way President Bush is managing the war in Iraq, matching the lowest mark of his presidency

Nearly 70 percent of Americans said Mr. Bush did not have a plan to end the war, and an overwhelming 80 percent said Mr. Bush’s latest effort to rally public support for the conflict amounted to a change in language but not policy.

Looks like people have finally seen the light, just in time for the midterms!

Fifty percent of independent voters, a closely watched segment of the electorate in such polarized times, said they intended to vote for the Democratic candidate, versus 23 percent who said they would vote for a Republican.

Among registered voters, 33 percent said they planned to support for Republicans, and 52 percent said they would vote for Democrats.

AWESOME, AWESOME, AWESOME!!

Let them rant and rave about Kerry who isn't even running! It only shows people how truly shallow and desperate they are!

1. The more republicans rant and rave, the better
They don't realize that people are sick of their
deceptive buillshit... and it just proves again
what losers they are when they cannot speak
to a single issue. I bet this whole Kerry flap
compounded against the Michael Fox fiasco
will plunge their numbers even lower.

2. It speaks loudly to their competence...

...and their priorities right before an important election. On cable talk-shows wednesday the republican hosts/guests admitted that the WH and the right were taking the whole matter completely and purposefully out of context (a lie) and they were still giddy about the whole thing, as if it somehow would erase a double digit dem lead. To me it showed all. "Yes, we admit it's a lie but, hey, its negative and against a Dem thus we love it". Sooo sooo shallow!

3. Bush is below 30% approval rating in Iraq!
Quick, give John Kerry a microphone and see if we can get Bush's approval ratings down into the teens!
