Which Senate race is hardest to figure?

Personally, I'd be surprised if I were wrong about any of these races except for one possibly two. One of them I have no idea which way it is going (I won't say which one so as not to skew the poll)

1. I voted Ford v Corker...

African- American candidate in a Southern/Border state? I
don't think the polls can be trusted at all in this one. What
people do behind the closed curtain may be very different from
what they tell a pollster.

2. personally, I think Ford is going to come up short

for basically the reason you cited. The race I just can't figure out is MO. Second for me is VA where I suspect Webb will win, but you can't count out Allen.
