More touchscreen sleepovers in California!
Spoke to my wife a few hours ago, and she was eating lunch in the company cafeteria, and some co-workers and volunteers were talking about the election. Some of the older volunteers are pollworkers and were exclaiming how much easier their jobs are with touchscreen machines. When my wife expressed her concerns about the touchscreen machines, they replied something to the effect of "oh don't worry, we can't let the machines out of our sight! The night before the election, they stay in our bedrooms so no one can tamper with them!"

BTW, this is in Watsonville, (Santa Cruz County)California, one of the blue-est counties in the state, and perhaps the nation- we went for Mondale in '84 and Dukakis in '88...
