Pickles was in Pleasanton, CA this morning...

Heard on the radio that Pickles was to appear at a fundraiser this morning at 10 a.m. in Pleasanton, CA (San Fran Bay Area), stumping for Pombo (he's listed in Rolling Stone's "10 Worst Congressmen" article).

Pombo is corrupt with a capital "C" and is the one trying to sell off our national park lands to the highest bidder.

The radio announcer said there were supposed to be protesters outside the Pickles 'n Pombo venue who were going to stage a re-enactment of the arrest of Jack Abramoff.

Anyone go to this? Any pics or video, por favor???

1. Pickles supports criminals and in fact, marries them.

2. I feel she is "doing her duty" as
first spouse and then will cash in her chips and go back to Crawford or Dallas with her friends or the WH family room and drink and smoke and read while contemplateing her final escape after 2008 . I suspect she wishes for resumed Rethug control only to make her home life more bearable. Her focus is very limited and self involved and sel and family protective.

I may be giving her too much credit, but her personal background (ala Democratic, Library) before hooking up with the BFEE must be giving her severe cognitive dissonance.

I can't stand her, but I feel for her - does that make any sense?

3. I often wonder what the "real" Laura thinks.
I don't buy it for a minute that she is the sweet supportive wifey.
