Nancy Pelosi Be Damned!
Insisting that the new Democrat controlled congress will not
begin hearings to impeach the Bush administration is
irresponsible. The new Speaker presumptive Rep. Pelosi is
allowing politics to to take precedence over national safety.
Trying to calm so called fears that the Democrats will use
their new powers for retribution only delays the
inevitable...this Bush regime must end...NOW.

Reports of the revelation of nuclear secrets for propaganda
purposes is only the latest in a long, long list of this
administrations incompetence and disregard for the consquences
of it's actions. Bush & Co. must be removed from office
immediatly for reasons of national safety and security!

Every day that Bush remains in office puts the nation in
peril. We must act.

3. Pelosi is lying.
I am convinced that there will be impeachment hearings. They are politicians who will do anything to gain more power. The GOP did it to Clinton and we will do it to Bush. Only Bush's crimes are real. Pelosi says no impeachment, but Conyers says otherwise. He says that there will be investigations of all of Bush's crimes. Pelosi has no integrity while Conyers does. It seems pretty simple to see what is really going to happen. Once the facts are out, Congress will have no options but to impeach. As Stephen Colbert said, reality is on our side.

6. No, only if he's fully impeached and forced to leave office ...
.. Big Dog was 'impeached' and dragged thru the mud, but still stayed in office.

We could do the same to Dimson and at least shame the smarmy little bastard and put a bigger blotch on his "legacy".

14. Go for the jugglar
Clinton was acquitted, and rightly, because getting a blowjob was a ridiculous thing over which to cause a constitutional crisis.

Bush and Cheney, on the other hand, lied in order to involve this nation in a war that in fact had no justification. That has got to be the greatest betryal of public trust imaginable.

This regime needs to be removed from power altogether.

8. Baloney
The Big Dick has been in on all of Bush's crimes plus a few of his own. If the Frat Boy can be impeached and removed, getting rid of the Big Dick will be a piece of cake.

removing them would take as long as they have left in office... also, bush & co. have congressional "STAY OUT OF JAIL CARD " they received it buried in the so called interrogation bill that allows for torture.

7. The Counter Argument:
1)There isn't time for full impeachment since it takes a couple years. Especially for this President because the investigations are so deep and many.
2)We'd be left with Cheney and they especially both wouldn't be impeached in time.
3)If they're impeached, Republicans will have a fresh face in the White House and will have effectively whiped the taint off their party after being swept from Congress in 2006 and from the White House via impeachment. She wants to leave him in there, conduct the investigations, damn the Republicans to political Hell with the voters. Then in 2008 Democrats can say "Look at this administration, look at what the investigations found. Elect me." It could make 2008 a cake walk for a good Democratic candidate.

13. That announcement is not bothering me right now. Think about
Edited on Fri Nov-03-06 09:19 PM by higher class
the unbelievable effort that went into that dunce of a plan (to impeach Clinton). Think about the wasted millions. Think about the lost legislation that went nowhere because those right wing effetes were all a twitter about their game.

While Clinton lied to cover up an affair, these people are criminals and there are many ways to take care of them. There will be tons of lawsuits and possible even a Nuremburg type trial.

Let all the law suits go forward. I'd much rather have these criminals in the courtroom than see our legislators all tied up trying to impeach.

Think about all the unilateral declarations and broken treaties that have to be reversed. Think about the debt that has to be cleared. Think about the healing with the rest of the world that has to be attempted.

I think it is mature and practical not to imeach - but only after we know that the lawsuits are coming in and no one is going to throw them out.

What do you want the end product to be? Did Clinton stop doing good because he was impeached? WIll these guys stop being criminals because one of theirs was impeached?

I prefer the end result of lawsuits - including international ones because these guys (and girls) gave us death, theft, lies, delusions. They cheated in every way they could. They are on their way to turning this country into a military dictatorship. These are not gentlemen and ladies who went a little wrong. The did more than anyone could ever dream up.

15. There are differences of opinion
Many in the Democratic Party in the house are better qualified than that of Ms. Peloci as Speaker...there are those most admired representatives that are more qualified than her: Rep. Murtha, and that of Rep. Conyers....but I am in the minority, so what do I know!

Cheney is worse. I trust Nancy Pelosi's "let's wait for the evidence" leadership.
