Drug WarRant and the 2004 election
Edited on Sun Feb-08-04 02:03 PM by Virgil
This concerns http://blogs.salon.com/0002762/ which is a blog called Drug WarRant. There are many people that think that the federal government has far exceeded its Constitutional limits and that this is what gave us the Drug Wars on a global scale to start with, much less let it continue.

Drug WarRant now addresses the Drug Wars in respect to the 2004 elections. As Kerry is the front runner, it has much to say about him. This thread is mainly to note that this is a good site for the Drug War issue in the 2004 election.

The drug wars show us many things. They show us the overreach of federal authority, which is the corruption of the Constitution. They show us the media complicity and the main tactic of silence employed to keep going on with failure and misery. They show us that both parties know the failure and will not discuss the issue in the campaigns. Could anyone possibly conceive of a debate of the Democratic hopefuls that was devoted to the drug wars? Can anyone imagine a debate between Bush and the Democratic hopeful that would more than soundbite the WOD?
