Mail is coming in by the pound! Yesterday I got a recorded call from Pat Boone asking me to call Senator Talent and thank him for the prescription drug plan. Somehow I just haven't gotten around to doing that for Pat and I seem to have lost the number to call. Oh, darn!

I love the republican mail. I am thinking of sending $5.00 or so to the Republican Party to be sure I get on all their mailing lists for the next campaigns, this is really fun to watch them spend money. Last Thursday I received 8 pieces of total mail and 5 of them were campaign literature. Apparently Claire McCaskill is going to take away my gun (which causes me to wonder if I need to buy one first or is it okay to skip that part before she does do so), my doctor, my health care and my little dog too! She seems to be one powerful lady if that is the case?

5. Ummm, Pat--thousands of the elderly are now dealing with the

Medicare Part D Prescription Drug Plan. They are now in the donut hole and trying to scrape up thousands of dollars for their much-needed meds. So who are they supposed to vote for?

6. Got a call from President Clinton.

Not taking my phone off, I'm thrilled every time I get a call from the Dems. It means they are working to GOTV.

Going to make my own calls in a little while.

Do we always get this many calls, I don't remember.

10. I have never gotten any where near this many and repub calls

outweigh dems 3 to 1..I did get a call from both Bill and Hill but they were too busy to come to dinner.

To sender. I got to tell one young phone lady that Henry Bonilla was a crook and my DH told the NRA that the democratic party was not going to take his hunting gun away... really
