Why do we let W. define us?
All week I've seen Bush at campaigns saying things like "Democrats want America to lose and the terrorists to win in Iraq" and "Democrats don't want to try terrorists for their crimes" and so on.

So why do we allow those stereotypes to be perpetrated? Are the American people really going to vote for a party that is "strong" and wrong over a party that is "weak" and right? Are we going to let the Republicans pull that shit?

Is there anything we can do to keep THEM from defining US?

We're outside. The big-time media is them and they report it their way.

2. Everything changes on Nov. 8.
After Bush loses most of his power and the media starts writing about the tidal wave that demolishes the rethug lock on power, his silly speeches will no longer be getting they attention they are today.

4. We should be forcing the definitions on them. There was an
attempt with "culture of corruption" but in my opinion, we need to be much meaner, and slime them with the same crap they hang on us. For example, "The republics want to have sex with your children, and use their unchecked power to hide it from you!" Etc.

5. They control the media.
Game, set, and match. They win the framing game every time. Our only ally is the truth. Sooner or later, the frame will be so absurd, so divorced from the truth, that it won't work any more. Let's hope we're to that point already.
