1. For Kerry...
I made almost 100 calls. I registered a few voters, turned a handful of friends out to vote for Kerry... had a yard sign.

This year, I've logged hundreds of hours organizing events, phone banking, canvassing, putting out yard signs, letters to the editor, fund raising, etc... I just finished a marathon of Thursday phone bank, Friday events, Saturday & Sunday canvass/lit drop, tonight, phone bank & yard sign distribution... still called my friends and family to make sure they vote dem tomorrow.... Tomorrow, I'll work half a day, vote, go watch my niece so my SIL can vote, then get precinct lists and check the hanging lists at poll locations, calling Dems that haven't yet voted.

People that haven't donated before have donated. People that haven't phone banked or canvassed before have been phone banking and canvassing.... even some that haven't voted before are voting Dem....

I share this because as an Ohioan I was embarrassed that Ohio went for Bush, as an American, I was embarrassed Bush was our President. I am embarrassed that Ohioans have let our State Government become a pay-to-play, culture of corruption joke of a State Government. My fellow DUers can rest assured Ohio Dems are kicking ass and working like crazy. We can all celebrate when Ohio turns Blue tomorrow!!!

4. Blackwell is going down,
that is a given. We probably got a Senate seat too. It's overdue.

6. I agree
I'm thinking we get SOS and treasurer too. Probably Auditor and maybe AG. A couple U.S. Rep pick ups, maybe 4 or 5. The Judges' races make me nervous. I'm wishing I would have done more for O'Neill....

7. I'm thinking a sweep
of them all, the Noe trial was perfect timing here in Toledo. But I don't want to get my hopes up too far, again.

11. I have to work behind the scenes
I manage a petroleum related operation with union employees. I am still afraid my posts here will get to my employer and be a problem.

I have been able to get my crews arranged so everyone who wants to can vote tomorrow, with pay. (and the head office doesn't really need to know)

My union guys all know my feelings and I pretty much know theirs, so thats a 100% dem turnout of my operation.
