Obama Discussing Midterm Elections on Nightline Tonight
Edited on Mon Nov-06-06 11:22 PM by Alhena
Coming on in a few minutes here in the central time zone.

And here's a companion article- sounds like he's running in 2008.

And while the fascinating support may be enough to pull Obama through to November 2008, many have questioned Obama's experience, wondering if he's ready to be president.

"I think the real question is: Do I have the judgment to be president or do I have the vision to be president? Do I have the passion to be president? You know, I would argue that Donald Rumsfeld has one of the best resumes in Washington," said Obama. "And yet, I would also argue that one of the consequences of bad judgment on his part is some of the problems that we've seen in Iraq."

Obama said he is ready to consider a potential White House run after tomorrow's elections. "That's really the question that I'd be asking myself: Do I feel like I possess the capacity to make good decisions on behalf of the American people?"

1. I thought that said OSAMA discussing mid-terms
Wouldn't have surprised me...I figured Karl wheeled him out for one last big scare. But that would be pretty stupid...who the hell watches Nightline anymore?

2. Thanks for the heads up. Our side couldn't ask for a better spokesperson right now.
