HELP! I am afraid if a Dem candidate doesn't for for him/herself as a joke and it throws...

...the entire election by one vote! Has the party made a statement that all candidates are voting for themselves??!! Is there a way for the party to enforce this so they have to???? HELP I'M WORRIED!!!!
