How Did You Vote Today?
I opted for Optical Scan Ballot, where you fill in the arrow next to your candidate of choice, over the Electronic method here in Chicago.

Mayor Daley voted electronic this morning and his wife chose the paper route, hah!

5. Diebold touch screen
The biggest thing I noticed today was the machines were different than the ones in the primary.
These machines had the printers on them and a sign on the door instructing you to lift to see vote results.
During the primary, I raised the question to poll workers and poll officials that I knew as to why the literature said there were printers on the machines and when we got there, there were no printers. Maybe my questions helped them change the machines in our county.

Possession of once ounce or less of marijuana is legal. :smoke:

We had a choice of machine or a paper ballot that will be scanned later. We took paper, of course, & hope the best for the scan.

15. We were supposed to scribble out all the (R)s...right?
Edited on Tue Nov-07-06 05:43 PM by jayctravis
To show that we didn't want them in...Or is it the...um.

I'm kidding.

Although my friend voted today and he "didn't know who he was voting for." I asked "Did the ovals you marked have (R) or (D) next to them?"

He said, "I think Green is a pretty color so I marked that..."

:spank:
