What to look for after the polls close in Kentucky and Indiana at 6 P.M. |
|
Kentucky has two GOP seats that are being contested by the Democrats: KY-3 and KY-4. I think both are leaning toward re-electing the GOP right now, but if we win one, or especially two of these, then it's probably going to be a VERY good night for us. Likewise, Indiana has three GOP seats that we are contesting: IN-2, IN-8, and IN-9. It looks like our candidate is going to win IN-8, and IN-2 seems to be leaning our way, while IN-9 looks like a toss-up. We could possibly win all three of these seats, which means it's Katy-bar-the-door for the GOP.

1. KY is closing at 7, not 6. Indiana extended voting for another 3 hours. NT. |

2. Oops. 6 P.M. in Indiana is 7 P.M. in New York. |

I guess only Kentucky is on the 6 P.M. radar. I guess even if the two KY seats are "too close to call" when the polls close, then that might be a good sign for us too.

4. Eastern Indiana is Eastern Time Zone, so 6pm Eastern Indiana is 6pm New York. |
