I voted PAPER after I made sure it counted...others followed... |
|
I had the option, I asked really loudly...IF I VOTE PAPER, DOES IT COUNT. I said I had heard that paper ballots would be counted as provisional ballots if they thought about them.. the lady said NO Maam...they get counted right now
the poll worker said yes it gets scanned right now and you can watch the number change...after that many people left the "electronic" line and started getting in the paper ballot line.
damn if felt goodddddddddddd

3. I voted by paper ballot, too. |

There were two...um...mature ladies at the check-in. When I asked for a paper ballot, one of them "got it" and one didn't.
The one who didn't was trying to regale me with how she was 68 and how she had no problem with the machine; it was very easy - nothing to worry about. After I cut her off with the hand, (I didn't trust myself to speak civilly about my feelings toward the whole vapor voting thing) the other poll worker said to her "Don't even go there. That's not what he's talking about."
I had to get new eyeglasses afterward. While waiting for them to be finished, I did some other shopping.
The clerk at one store noticed my "I Voted" sticker and commented the he would be going after work. I said I had voted by paper ballot. He had NO IDEA you could do that.
After that he was really energized about getting to the poll.
