Lamont exit poll (as per Wonkette): Ned leading by 4 |
|
From Lamont’s exit-polling: Lamont 47%, Lieberman 43%. That seems way the hell off from what we’ve been hearing from Official Polls over the weekend, but whatever. http://www.wonkette.com/politics/midterms/numbers-numbers-numbers--and-byebye-lieberman-213119.php

Exit polls are Dem-biased (I'm assuming because more Dems participate than Repubs). Remember 2004 when the exit polls were favoring Kerry all day?
But it still keeps me hopeful, especially given the estimated 70% turnout in CT.

7. I still think Schlesinger is going to pull a lot of votes |
|
There are a LOT of repugnicans who, despite what they might have said they would do, just won't be able to bring themselves to vote for Joementum. That added to the fact that Schlesinger more than held his own in the debates and will pull some support that way, I think Lamont has more of a chance than people have been giving him credit for.

11. Don't get your hopes up yet |
|
Remember the surge in Republican voting late in 2004 after many exit polls were released?
Let's wait & see...

I can't take the pain of getting my hopes up and then having them smashed. I should go read a book I guess. For mental health reasons.

17. If Holy Joe is kicked to the curb, I will laugh and scream so loud, all of you will hear it |
|
GO NED GO !!!!!!
(I am still very, very reluctant to get excited at all...this poll is so very far out line with previous polls. I just hope that many have changed their minds, and I hope that many Repukes who were polling Lieberman end up voting for the Repuke.)
If Ned wins, MAN OH MAN, will it be a good night. 51-49 with NO LIEberman? HELL YES!!
