Send a Message Early: Block the Gates Confirmation

This guy, Gates, was up to his eyeballs in the Iran/Contra ILLEGAL diversion of funds. We need to sink this nomination as a message to Bush that we won't take his TAINTED goods. We need to get to work on this early so the Dems don't just roll-over in happiness that Rummy is gone. Gate is NO boyscout. He should have been indicted. * thinks we have a short an attention span as him. NOT!

8. He does not deserve confirmation in the Democratic Senate. We no longer

need to roll over and accept intolerable * nominees. We the people gave the Dems a mandate. I expect them to use it. We do not need any more Iran Contra crooks to lead key departments in this country. We should hold out for someone with a vision of how to get out of this war.
