And Will the Press Finally Feel Free to Actually Report the News |
|
and not the Republican Approved Version of the News?
I am hoping we will see a real shift in report the news. May not happen but I really hope it will.

1. They've always been free, just not interested in reporting the news. |

They are all owned by mega-corporations who make more money off Republican tax cuts and welfare for the wealthy than they do off their piddly little media outlets. They use their media outlets--CNN, the NYT, etc--as advertising departments for the Republican Party.
Advertisers do have to show the people what they want, or people reject their message. The media will have to give in a little. But overall, their goal now is to destroy the Dems to get the Repubs back in office.

They don't even care very much about ratings any more. The megacorps that own the media view the media as an advertsing and propaganda department. If they happen to make any money too, that's an added bonus but that's not their purpose. Their purpose is to control information in order to accomplish the larger goals of the larger corporation and their mega-rich owners.

4. no it will be like the way they handled the Kerry misspeak 24-7 |
|
While ignoring Boehner's boner. Just like the Clinton Era: all bashing all the time. Dang, remember when the huge story was him getting a hair cut or she firing the travel agents? Good God, they hounded, exaggerated, spun, distorted. They will have the time of their lives.
