discarded on the ash heap of history. He may be evil but he is no genius and never was. He fooled a lot of people in 2000, 2002, and 2004 but let's face it, he was also very lucky in all three situations - as well as probably assisted by some election chicanery and/or mishaps in all three elections. In fact, had the electoral wishes of even a thousand voters (out of many thousands more) been properly recorded and counted in Florida in 2000, few people would even remember who Karl Rove is today - just another political consultant who ran a failed presidential campaign for George W. Bush, former governor of Texas. In 2006 the luck ran out and the nakedness of the emperor is exposed for all to see. Republicans are furious about the botched timing of the firing of the main albatross around their neck (next to Bush himself) = Rumsfield.

3. Not a genius
Just a little bully and thug along with bush* that knows how to steal elections. Ask McCain in S. Carolina.

5. Not even highly skilled. Just unscrupulous.
If he had mad political skilz, he might have been able to earn loyalty.

He's a bag man, fortunate enough to be working for equally amoral bosses.
