We've won a huge battle but the war is far from over. We beat back

the republicans but we haven't defeated the corporate cabal that is running (or attempting to run) the government. A huge factor in our victory was the internet. We could communicate instantly and get information out quickly. Some will call me pessimistic and say I am raining on the parade, but... Recently CNN and Google censored the news.

youtube has become a major vehicle in getting news out quickly but, Google, big corporate America, has taken control and will be able to regulate (censor) what is shown there. And ATT is trying to get legislation to allow them to regulate (censor) the internet.

In addition, a few days ago it was revealed (sorry no link) that a large number of major corporations have conspired to boycott Air America.

The republicans were supported by major corporations in exchange for favorable legislation. The republicans got too greedy and got spanked, but the corporations still have their hands in the pot.

Now that our hangovers are subsiding, we need to get busy and back legislation to keep the internet free. Maybe find an alternative to youtube. We should also boycott those corporations that are trying to suppress free (liberal) information.

We must attempt to neuter the media while we have a fighting chance....otherwise they really will determine what will be. To think otherwise would be naive!
