Kilroy is fighting; 2,800 down w/ 41,000 votes uncounted as of 4:00 PM 11/9

The votes are in a large part from blacks, students, and urban areas. Also about 10,000
absentee ballots too in the 41,000 uncounted.

Deb Pryce better start working on her concession speech and quit w/ I won that is it
crap. Go ahead Pryce try to go public and stop the counting of the votes.

Yesterday's Rally (the #s have gotten even better)

November 9, 2006
RALLY FOR VOTER RIGHTS

EVERY VOTE COUNTS! COUNT EVERY VOTE! RALLY FOR VOTER RIGHTS - 4pm. With only a 3,600-vote margin and over 30,000 ballots left to be counted, the Ohio 15th Congressional Race is still too close to call! It is estimated that up to *one in three OSU students* were forced to cast provisional ballots. 10,000 Provisional Ballots and 20,000 Absentee Ballots remain to be counted.

17. Message is simple
1. Make sure that all those who voted provisionally get their vote counted.
2. Count every vote.

The DNC needs to do what ever is needed to to make sure that those things get done.

9. Trust me the # s are very good for Kilroy
Democrats and independents voted more by absentee and
most people who were forced to or had to vote provisionally
were Democratic.

I ran polls on election day and many many many people had to
vote provisionally.

29. One in four provisionals in HEAVY (think 95% or better) Dem areas
I was on the ground..these folks came ARMED with their own Dem voter guides....about 3 Republicans out of hundreds of people in one precinct alone.

The numbers are there...if the votes are counted, Pryce loses.

10. My e-mail to the DNC
As a loyal third generation Democrat, I would ask the DNC to please publicly demand that every vote be counted in the Ohio 15th District race between Bill Buckel, Mary Jo Kilroy, and Deborah Pryce.

I'm well aware of the shady way the 2004 General Election was handled and I don't want to see this race stolen from us, too.

With congratulations to the DNC and all the candidates who fought hard for the nation, win or lose! Let's add Mary Jo Kilroy to the ranks of our wonderful new congressional MAJORITY!

Sincerely,

XXX

30. Provisionals must wait until 11/18 or beyond
Due to certification law. Provisionals are not counted until all "non-provisionals" are counted, and the law states that provisionals are not to be counted until at least 11/18. Because that's the day of the OSU-Michigan football clash of the titans, election officials have decided to wait until Monday 11/20 to begin the count.

If the final margin is within 1100 votes or so, an automatic recount is triggered.

Bet on that, unless Mary Jo wins by more than that margin. Which would be sweet indeed!

15. My brother called from Ohio last night to say we've still got a good shot
at this one...ousting Deb Pryce. It's all about the student vote from Ohio State where their driver's licenses do not match their voting address (dorms, student apts, etc.). Despite Blackwell's best efforst to suppress our voters here the courts have ruled that these votes will count if the voters can prove their residence (utilities receipts,etc.).

Just may take a while but I think these votes come in strongly for Kilroy.

28. I live in Columbus
but I have been gerrymandered to Tiberi's district. Still, I am so hoping that Kilroy can oust Pryce.

There were a LOT of irregularities out of Franklin County. I suspect if they were corrected, the Dems would have another representative. And that is good because Pryce is a fringe rightwing lunatic. You should have seen her at the debate.

32. What irregularities are you aware of? Be specific? Someone should audit.
Edited on Sat Nov-11-06 11:34 AM by philb
Thats more likely to produce a change than just counting a few more ballots.

Before conceding in a close race, due to recent widespread manipulation I would audit the results.

The most common way to swing elections in recent years are touch screen manipulation and absentee ballot stuffing. Regarding absentees, look at absentees accepted(similar % to reg.election?, pattern of when requested and when received, were they all received in big group?), absentees rejected(why?balance?, ) balance/bias is absentees requested and sent?

In general there are also a lot of Dem votes lost by manipultion of registrations, purges, dirty tricks, provisionals.

Regarding touch screen results, look at the state website for number of undervotes and overvotes. Follow up in unusual precincts.

The Jennings District 13 race in Florida appears to have been hacked this year by touch screen "switch to blank" hacks(results in high undervotes). That happened in lots of areas in 2004 races. You can also look for precincts with unusual percentages, indicative of "switching".

there have also been swings due to "illegal purges" of Dems for questionable reasons, manipulation of registrations, disinformation and dirty tricks resulting in rejection of provisionals of minority voters, etc.

If there are questions contact someone like me or the Verified Voting or VotersUnited people who have been involved in the election protection process.

33. I was commenting on the sheer number of irregularities...
Edited on Sat Nov-11-06 12:09 PM by Zodiak Ironfist
coming out of Franklin county the day of the election. I believe Franklin's number was 183 vs. 71 and 72 at the time for Cuyahoga and Harrison county at 4PM Tues., repectively.

With all of those irregularities, I knew something was up with Franklin County, but I experienced nothing (my precinct is run very well).

Sorry I couldn't give you anything specific other than reading an election irregularity map on Tuesday.

31. It would be unusual to make up that many votes out of 41,000 additional
Edited on Sat Nov-11-06 11:34 AM by philb
there would have to be a strongly different pattern of who was represented.

An audit of the election results would be a much more likely way to change the outcome.
there was a huge amount of irregularites reported in Ohio in 2004 so likely was enough to produce this swing in 2006
www.flcv.com/ohiosum.html (enough to swing 2004 election from Kerry to Bush)

someone should be looking for the same kinds of problems in 2006

Before conceding in a close race, due to recent widespread manipulation I would audit the results.
