What's happening with Mean Jean Schmidt?
Results say that she is leading by 2865 votes, but no winner is declared. Is there a recount or something?

1. Perhaps she busy
fixing the total - she's got experience in that...remember the marathon she ran and the time was way off? Nothing for these people to lie and cheat.

2. Uphill battle for this one but not decided yet. Ohio is still a mess
thanks to Ken Blackwell. Lots of "provisional ballots" still out. We have a better chance of booting Deborah Pryce in another Ohio district where over 20,000 provisionals (mostly Ohio State students) are yet to be certified. The race margin is about 1000.

5. If Mean Jean wins...it will just prove
that Rethugs are idiotic demented lemmings and will follow their party right over a cliff. They are not too smart...are they?

She's graciously offered to allow us to put toxic nuclear waste in her district.

I mean, we've got to put it SOMEWHERE.

If I were Howard Dean, I would have issued a press release before the election, pledging to take Ohio up on her offer if they re-elect Schmidt.

8. She got room in her garage?
If we put the nuclear waste into old paint cans, we could probably stack quite a few along the sides.

9. Wulsin won't concede, and 10's of thousands of votes
appear to still be outstanding through provisional ballots etc. Mathematically she has a tough hill to climb but I believe the fight is worth it, I don't trust the electoral process in OH-2 at all and Wulsin should turn over every stone possible. She has to walk a fine line to not look like a sore loser but against a witch like Schmidt her job is infinately easier.
