Clark - TN
Okay Clark fans. It's time to get scrappy!

After attending the Nashville rally last night, I made my husband donate his limit to Clark's campaign.

I had been doling mine piecemeal but hit my limit this morning.

I was up all night on morphine (for some reason it makes me wired) having my first recurrence of major pain in weeks from spending the day putting signs up all over my Republican Boob county.

HIT THE PHONES! There are people EVERYWHERE here reacting to Clark buttons, honking at signs and giving thumbs up, etc.

This race is tighter than the Zogby polls might indicate.

WE CAN DO THIS!

If there are Tennessee residents who can drive folks to the polls, PLEASE volunteer to do so.

If you have even $10 to spare, PLEASE donate to the campaign.

If you have 5 minutes to spare on your lunch break, PLEASE make a couple of phone calls.

EVERY little thing we do can make the difference.

You will find, as I have, so many people on the phone who seem to be planning on going into the voting booth blind. They have no idea who they are going to vote for and sadly know very little about the candidates.

Share a personal story of why voting for Clark is the best choice for this country. Be funny, or be gracious, or be earnest but be MEMORABLE. When that person walks into that booth make their last thought before they hit that button be about that nice Clark person, or how badly America could use a hero right now like Clark, or how much hope Clark seems to instill in people who hear him speak.

Be a soldier for Clark today. We're fighting for our Country.

1. Thank you for that
I've printed it up, and I'll post it over the phones in at the campaign office for those who come in to help make calls today. It's great inspiration! :)

2. I've noticed something that seems to stand out about Clark
I'm not American, but am a fan of his anyway...What I've noticed in reading many of the posts about Clark in this forum, is that many people are expressing a heightened admiration for him after meeting him in person...That is not always the case...I think many times we see people at their best on TV and are disappointed when meeting them in person...He must be special to cause this response!....:)

3. He is amazing.
He looks you right in the eye and he speaks right from his heart.

This man is an American treasure and I fear that if we let him slip away into a political footnote we are dooming ourselves into 12 more years of Bushes.

4. Goodness, yes
I've said it over and over. If every voter could see and hear Wes Clark just once in person, we'd wipe the floor with GWB.

5. I feel like the electorate
is looking a gift horse in the mouth sometimes but exhaustion makes me discouraged.

The only thing to do is work, work, work!

6. Opiates make me wired, too
You are not alone.

I'm up to 200 calls in TN and I've convinced a lot of undecideds to consider Clark. Some even flat-out say they're now going to vote for him. The media wants us to believe it's over, but TN is a lot closer than you think.

7. When calling Tennessee
There was a blog entry this morning saying seniors have been very responsive to hearing about George Jones's endorsement and radio ad.
