Before The Flaming Begins... Let's Understand Something Or At Least |
|
try... Hoyer & Murtha are TWO different animals, but on the whole they seem to think they can work compatibly.
Hoyer, more the centrist to some extent, we must also understand that Murtha isn't exactly your FLAMING Liberal either. I respect what Hoyer just said on CNN, that Nancy Pelosi already told him that she would support Murtha because he headed her campaign before.
I'm just saying BEWARE... MSM AND Repukes are making this bigger than it is! Besides Murtha may not make it and that's okay with me... Hoyer sounded extremely "understanding" and comfortable about the whole thing. After all, Hoyer & Pelosi have been working together all this time anyway! Murtha just became a real activist in this past year, and I LOVE that too!

I would like to see Murtha with the job, but Hoyer is fine with me too. They are both DEMOCRATS. :patriot:

7. Yeah, And We Have No Fear Of Either One Of Them Doing A Swtichroo! |

They are Democrats and in my heart will ALWAYS be Democrats... We The Big Tent Party, We The Party Of Much Diversity, but bottom line WE MUST remember that by and large we identify ourselves as the Party of "We The People!" You know, that Party who fights harder for PEACE and CARING!
We have hurdles ahead of us, let's not make this "blip" by MSM to DETER us!

they don't have to try very hard. Murtha has been named by CREW as one of the most corrupt members of congress, and today they blasted Pelosi for endorsing him. In addition, although cleared of wrong doing in Abscam, the old tape of him, doesn't play well.

8. I'm Sure If The Spotlight Was On ANY High Profile Politician In This |
|
day & time, SOMETHING will rise and surface and point a negative light upon each individual. I'm not saying we not take note of this fact, I'm just saying that we shouldn't let it rattle us and quash the momentum we have made. Our voices made not have been the ROAR of this past election, but the POLICIES of this administration has trickled down to the middle class and we all know "economics" will drive the people!
If you can't buy shit, you ain't happy!

None of this is up to us. It's all innerworkings of house leadership. It'll play out the way it plays out.

Now that the republicans have to elect a minority leader there are about four or five republicans wanting the job....Blitzer says it is a horse race. Hoyer and Murtha are two guys wanted the second seat in the house, but that makes the democrats divided.............how come.

11. Yep, me thinks the media wants to make more of this story |

than there is. There is always leadership squabbles, each are trying to convince others of their virtues. Some repubs will fuss about Boner, Bohner (?) for leadership.
