New York Post: Rove 'Genius' no more!
http://www.nypost.com/seven/11132006/postopinion/opedcolumnists/genius_no_more_opedcolumnists_deborah_orin_eilbeck.htm

November 13, 2006 -- NO one's calling Karl Rove "Boy Genius" anymore. After last week's election debacle, some Republicans wonder aloud if it's time for President Bush's political guru to follow Defense Secretary Don Rumsfeld and walk the plank.

The final blow for many Republicans was President Bush's decision to fire Rumsfeld right after the election - instead of a few months before, when it might have helped save the House and Senate.

9. They don't give damn about lives.
They sure as hell care about power though. And money of course.

3. Boy egomaniac is a better discriptor for
evil KKKarl. But the decision to wait until after the election to axe Rummy was probably more influenced by Chimpy's adoration for the man and his war than anything the egomaniac was prognosticating.

4. They're both delusional...
Which I think is the real reason Dumya didn't let Rummy go earlier. I don't think KKKarl or Junior had even considered the possibility of having their butts handed to them. They just couldn't believe it could happen, and since they set reality for all of us, therefore it wasn't going to happen.

But we have to be eternally vigilant about these guys. They'll lick their wounds for a few months, and then come back with a vengence in 2008.
