Attn: Freepers. Your hero Rush did a fine job of sinking Sen. JimTalent |

Edited on Mon Nov-13-06 08:28 PM by Lastlaughin08
and thus helping Democrats take control of the US Senate. Through his typically stupid and despicable antics live on camera where he mocked and insulted Parkinson victim Michael J. Fox he succeeded in drawing attention to a senate race that was hardly known outside of Missouri. He stirred up enough disgust and anger in voters to give the win to Democratic candidate Claire McCaskill, as well as Democrats in other House and Senate races, and now the GOP is on the outside looking in.
Give him a big hearty "thanks" for us, because everyone over here on DU is too busy laughing their asses off at him and hopes he will keep blabbering his fool head off while ensuring Democratic victories in future elections.

Maybe he didn't mock the cripple hard enough. Next time he'll be sure to mock some Negroes too. That'll REALLY win over Americans.

4. Sure he had a hand in it |
|
but don't give him too much credit. Just like the other races this one was decided by voters for various reasons. So Rush was just one very small factor in many that we all had to consider before going to the polls. There was Talent's performance in the Senate, his stance on the stem cell issue (and amendment), a couple of other issues on the ballot and all the national issues to consider. Don't give the windbag too much credit. He really isn't worth it.

10. I'd gladly give him credit when he helps ruin things for his own side. |
|
That makes victory even sweeter.

12. I hate to say this, but............. |
|
as disgusting and reprehensible as Rush is, his contributions to the GOP dwarf his inadvertant contributions to our party. He and those he's inspired have helped the GOP significantly over the years.
