As proven by our primaries. Where were all of those new voters Dean so fondly talked about? They were voting for Kerry, in record numbers.

Care more about effectiveness than ideology. They aren't going to give gov't a free pass on civil liberties, but at the same time they're more disturbed by Bush's incompetence than his ideological extremism (which isn't always apparent in everyday life).
