We are about to be presented with a ticket consisting of 2 guys that voted for the war and the patriot act. We are being told "DLC. Take it or leave it punks. We don't need you." So our choices are vote against our consciences or let Bush draft our kids. Great choice.

Bush will draft our kids, or the other pro-draft candidate will.
Your choice.

That's what he wants for our armed forces, and there aren't enough people re-enlisting nor signing up.
PLUS he's of the mind that we need to be in Iraq 'for years'. Anyone that says this is by definition supporting a draft.
And they want to draft women, too.

16. Sometimes, the lesser of two evils is the only choice you have |
|
In this instance, those who feel that Kerry is an "evil" must make the decision to vote for Kerry and support the lesser of two evils, or to vote third party or skip the vote altogether and, in essence, support the greater of the two evils.

I'm doing all I can to ensure that a pro-war, pro-draft dem does not represent my party against bush.
I think offering the voters a clear choice is imperative.

But the general election is a different animal. Unfortunately, DK and (IMHO) Dean are anti-establishment candidates who will not win the primaries. The handwriting is on the wall, and the media have spoken. The DK supporters and we Dean supporters will continue to do everything we can to get delegates elected for our guys, but the Kerry train is chugging down the track and there seems to be no stopping him.
If this does happen the way it looks like it will, the next step is pragmatism.

32. Not lesser of two evils, I refuse to vote for evil no matter what party |
|
Primary ballot: X Dean O Clark O Kerry x Kuchinich (if I get a second choice) O (the rest)
November Ballot: (I hope it doesn't really have Kerry on it like this) O Bushie (R) O Kerry (Bushie Lite, DINO) X write-in or 3rd party DEAN!!!

17. If, in fact, you are being told that, |
|
it is by the voters of the primary states. Or are all the elections fixed? Did someone brainwash all of the likely primary voters to support one candidate over another?

That those voters were told who NOT to vote for by the media before they had a chance to make up their minds. More importantly, note that I said 2 war supporters. I would be very relieved with a veep selection that was against the war.

I have alot of faith in the fact we can take the white house no matter who the nominee is. Bush looks and seems really weak right now. I wouldnt get to used to it tho guys, cause they are gonna put up a fight like you've never seen before to stay!! Things look good for us, but its definitely not done. It really all depends on how the people who dont pay attention to politics till the day of reacts to them. Ive noticed that about elections...polls mean nothing and hearsay means little. you can never predict what the average voter whos only role is the actual ballot they cast ;) people are very fickle too. its whatevers their buddies or family think, or whatever media tells them. some people are the exact opposite and will vote against their family and friend purely for that fact. people vote for some people for the craziest of reasons.
ya just gotta hope for the best, but expect the worst. that way theres little disapiontment if nothing works out ;)

27. What if it's all a big |
|
scam? A big farce?
What a scenario: We fear the smear machine so much that we are "tamed" into supporting the same ol' thing, the same masters, different names and letters... A plot to keep the power out of the hands of "We the People". The desire for power transcends the party lines...
I suppose the get-in-line folks would suggest so I'm nuts. But I don't know. We fear Bush*, but we don't fear his puppetmaster, we don't wonder who else might be a puppet. 'Course, I know who is not a puppet.
But anyway...
Carry on, Kerry. Say (or don't say) whatever you have to to get elected. Even if you have to resort to nodding agreement with Bush* in order to get swing voters, conservatives and Republicans...
