So what if he is good at dirty politics and cheating his candidate into office?
It is my belief that he has done long term damage to the Republican Party based on:

*Allowing neocon PNAC control of the Party.
*Using the fundamentalist Christian community as a tool.
*Totally ignoring core conservative principles of less spending and smaller government.
*Backing the push for the illegal war in Iraq.
*Advising the President in very reckless directions.

...among other things.

selling a lie isn't genius, it's just evil.

If Rove was a REAL political genius he'd be able to run a campaign selling Bush's actual policies. Instead, they have to lie about the Democrats, cheat, steal and suppress votes for 4 years to stay in power.

The Democrats won and, yet, it looks as if Bush is safe. He's a war criminal. So, why is he safe?
