Since his record of predicting such things is atrocious, we can rest assured that at least one of them won't be there in the end. --->

Dick Morris Predicts Hillary vs. Gore

Hillary Clinton will face her toughest competition for the Democratic nomination for president in 2008 from an old Clinton ally, Al Gore, predicts political strategist Dick Morris.

"The Democratic primaries for president will feature the ‘new Democrats’ of the Bill Clinton variety – as embodied by Hillary – against the new left as embodied by Howard Dean and, increasingly, by Al Gore,” Morris tells NewsMax.

"It will be interesting, but the likely Democratic match-up will be Clinton versus Gore. The bumper sticker of ’92 and ’96 will split in half.”

Both Clinton and Gore can attract sufficient campaign contributions to mount a strong campaign – but both have weaknesses, according to Morris.

1. What a brilliant, stunning, original insight from Dick Morris.
Is he really paid to say shit like this?

2. He might be correct.
However, neither have announced yet. It really is too early anyway. A year from now, we'll know more. A *lot* of things can happen in a year to shift the political topology. We know absolutely that next year will be more different than any other year of the past decade, or more.

I say, sit back. Enjoy the ride. And keep the faith that today's common wisdom is tomorrow's "what were we thinking?"

3. Something called
the twelve house prophecy says that there are no more American presidents. I could not find it still on the net but I do remember seeing it.
