White house acknowledges that their inability to lie will result in an...
...apparent economic slowdown.

http://money.cnn.com/2006/11/21/news/economy/economy_forecast/index.htm?cnn=yes

With more truthful numbers regarding housing, employment, the budget, Iraq/Afghanistan expenditures to be exposed as a consequence of the Democrats taking charge in both houses of Congress, many of the misleading statistics should be exposed. The resultant economic problems will be blamed on the Democrats, however.

Stuff like this should not be allowed:

Last month, the unemployment rate slipped to 4.4 percent, hitting its lowest level in five years, according to the Labor Department, while employers added 92,000 jobs.

Needing 150,000 new jobs each month but adding only 92,000 and still reporting that the unemployment rate was lower defies logic. I understand that only those reporting for benefits are counted but unemployed is unemployed, benefit-eligible or not!

1. The Bush Administration has been lying since taking office in January 2001
...about virtually everything. I expect no change in that kind of behavior as long as Bush/Cheney remain in office.

2. even the 92,000 jobs are mostly hypothetical
and based on absurd assumptions

the unemployment rate in the US is in the mid- to high teens, and that doesn't include the formerly middle class people who now work multiple low-paying or part-time jobs. repukes and unfettered capitalism are disastrous and poisonous to everything they come into contact with.

3. "Stuff like this should not be allowed"
It was allowed because the Republican Congress refuse to oversee the executive branch. That is why we now have a Democratic Congress.
